Workshops for the Inspiration Phase

Examples, resources and cases for using HCD workshops in the Inspiration phase

  • Intent workshops:
Where we define the project goals and objectives and the research questions if any, that a project is seeking to answer. This workshop oftentimes brings together key project teams and may also sometimes include stakeholders such as local partners and government staff. Here, the goal is to have a common understanding of what the vision for the project is and what roles and responsibilities each member is accountable for.

  • Insights validation workshops:
These workshops comes after coming back to the field and gathering insights from users. As the name suggests, the goal of this phase is to validate that, indeed, the problem, as pointed out by users, resonates with other users and even with partners and experts who have worked in these communities.
